PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intravenous fluid warming apparatus from which covers are readily removed for cleaning, and in which the temperature of a fluid is adjusted to ensure that the fluid is at an appropriate temperature when it reaches a patient.SOLUTION: A fluid warming device 10 includes axially or longitudinally slidable covers 16 that retain a removable heat exchange body 18 in a housing 12 in heat exchange communication with a heater assembly while allowing flow through the heat exchange body 18 to be observed.
