An ostomy pouch device for removing biological excrement from a patient. One embodiment of an ostomy pouch device comprises an outer container containing an inner bag for receiving excrement from the patient's intestine. The device includes an intestinal connector for connecting the intestine to the inner bag. The outer container includes an air outlet opening through which air can exit the container as it displaces as the inner bag expands, and an air tunnel for removing air from the inner bag.
