A system and a method for determining an orthodonticdiagnostic analysis of a patient at various dental maturity stagespredicts future conditions and/or treatment recommendations. Thesystem and the method locate points in a mouth of a patient using animaging device wherein the imaging device generates imaging data.The imaging data is transferred to a central processing unit whereinthe central processing unit has access to a database havinginformation associated with orthodontic conditions stored therein.The central processing unit obtains measurements associated withselected points and dentition in the mouth of the patient andpredicts orthodontic conditions of the patient based upon themeasurements and the information in the database. The centralprocessing unit recommends treatments to the patient based upon thepredicted orthodontic conditions.
