PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system that allows a nurse to responds to a call from a patient when the nurse is not in a nurses station or has no portable master unit.SOLUTION: A nurse call master unit 4 includes: a CPU 45a which emits call sound by using a slave unit speaker of a nurse call slave unit 1 disposed in a patients room when the nurse call slave unit 1 calls for a nurse and a nursing-care rank storing part 53 for storing a call table in which whether to emit call sound by using the slave unit speaker is set for each nurse call slave unit 1.
