PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage not only supplying moisture content and an electrolyte which is lost by sweating, but also capable of being comfortably drunk at relatively light exercise or daily life.SOLUTION: There is provided a beverage composition containing no beverage designated additive and having Naconcentration of 20 to 80 mg/100 ml, osmotic pressure of 100 to 400 mOsm/kg, Na:glucose (molar ratio) of 1:0.1 to 10 and Na:K(molar ratio) of 1:0.05 to 1. There is provided the beverage composition further containing the following components: (1) 1 to 30% of fruit juice, (2) 0.01 to 10% of natural sweetener, (3) 0.005 to 0.1% of saline, (4) 0.005 to 1% of selected natural umami and richness source. An algae extract, a dried fish extract, a mushroom extract, a cereal extract, a tea extract, a vegetable extract, a fruit extract, a herb extract, a leaf meat extract, a bean extract, a seed extract, a yeast extract, saps, a sugar cane squeezed liquid (black molasses) and sugar (yellow soft sugar, muscovado).SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】水分や、発汗で失われる電解質の補給が速やかに行えるだけでなく、比較的軽い運動時や日常生活において快適に飲用できる飲料の提供。【解決手段】飲料指定添加物を含まず、Na+濃度20~80mg/100ml、浸透圧100~400mOsm/kg、Na+:ぶどう糖(モル比)1:0.1~10、及びNa+:K+(モル比)1:0.05~1である、飲料組成物。また、以下の成分、(1)1~30%の果汁と、(2)0.01~10%の天然甘味料と、(3)0.005~0.1%の食塩と、(4)0.005~1%の選択される天然旨味・コク味源と、を含む前記飲料組成物。藻類エキス、節類エキス、きのこ類エキス、穀類エキス、茶エキス、野菜エキス、果実エキス、ハーブエキス、葉肉エキス、豆類エキス、種実類エキス、酵母エキス、樹液類、サトウキビ搾汁液(黒糖蜜)及び砂糖(三温糖、黒糖)【選択図】なし
