PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which prevents noise generated in a case where the dosage is too small or too large from being emphasized with image processing.SOLUTION: A setting part 102 sets a range of a pixel value for emphasizing a contrast for an input image. A characteristic acquisition part 103 acquires a value indicating the dynamic range of an image sensor used at the time of imaging an original image from a storage part. When a determination part 104 determines that the set range of the pixel value is not included in the dynamic range, a correction part 105 performs correction so that the range of the pixel value set by the setting part 102 is included in the dynamic range. A gradation processing part 106 outputs an image subjected to gradation processing with a gradation conversion curve that has not been corrected or a gradation conversion curve that has been corrected.
