A system for determining the gaze endpoint of a subject, the system comprising: a eye tracking unit adapted to determine the gaze direction of one or more eyes of the subject； a head tracking unit adapted to determine the position comprising location and orientation of the eye tracker with respect to a reference coordinate system； a 3D Structure representation unit, that uses the 3D structure and position of objects of the scene in the reference coordinate system to provide a 3D structure representation of the scene； based on the gaze direction, the eye tracker position and the 3D structure representation, calculating the gaze endpoint on an object of the 3D structure representation of the scene or determining the object itself.L'invention porte sur un système qui permet de déterminer la cible de regard d'un sujet, lequel système comprend : un oculomètre apte à déterminer la direction du regard d'au moins un œil du sujet ； une unité de détermination de la position de la tête apte à déterminer la position, comprenant l'emplacement et l'orientation, de l'oculomètre par rapport à un système de coordonnées de référence ； et une unité de représentation de structure tridimensionnelle qui fait appel à la structure tridimensionnelle et à la position d'objets de la scène dans le système de coordonnées de référence pour fournir une représentation de structure tridimensionnelle de la scène. Ledit système, sur la base de la direction du regard, de la position de l'oculomètre et de la représentation de structure tridimensionnelle, calcule la cible de regard sur un objet de la représentation de structure tridimensionnelle de la scène ou détermine l'objet lui-même.
