A first aspect of the present invention relates to a method for preparing cell targeting conjugates by coupling at least one functional moiety, such as a therapeutic compound, diagnostic compound or chelating agent to a targeting moiety. A second aspect of the present invention relates to the cell targeting conjugates obtainable with said method. A third aspect of the present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising said cell targeting conjugates.
