The present invention relates to a composition comprising an allyl sulfide compound for inhibiting gastrointestinal motility, and more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating irritable bowel syndrome, a food composition, a feed composition, a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity, and a food composition for inhibiting appetite comprising an allyl sulfide compound or pharmaceutically accepted salt thereof as active ingredients. The allyl sulfide compound of the present invention shows an effect of inhibiting abnormal gastrointestinal motility, thereby being widely used in development of a treatment agent for various irritable bowel syndrome, a treatment agent for obesity, and an appetite inhibition agent.본 발명은 알릴 설파이드류 화합물을 포함하는 위장관 운동 억제용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 알릴 설파이드류 화합물 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용되는 염을 유효성분으로 포함하는 과민성 장 증후군 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물, 식품 조성물, 사료조성물 및 비만의 예방 또는 치료용 약학조성물, 식욕 억제용 식품 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 알릴 설파이드류 화합물은 비정상적인 위장관 운동을 억제시키는 효과를 나타내므로, 다양한 과민성 장 증후군에 대한 치료용 제제, 비만의 치료용 제제 및 식욕억제제의 개발에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
