An independent claim is also included for cosmetic treatment of skin and/or mucosa that are sensitive, irritated, intolerant, allergic, aged and/or subjected to a danger signal and/or have a cutaneous barrier disorder, red blotches and/or a nonpathological immunological imbalance associated with intrinsic, extrinsic or hormonal aging by application of a composition as above. ACTIVITY : Antiallergic； Antiinflammatory； Dermatological； Antipsoriatic； Immunosuppressive. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Cell migration inhibitor. A culture of Langerhans cells separated from a normal human fibroblast culture supernatant by a basal membrane equivalent film on a Matrigel membrane was sensitized with 50 MicroM DNSB (soluble form of dinitrochlorobenzene). The number of Langerhans cells migrating through the membrane after 18 hours at 37[deg]C was 2.13 times control. Adding 4-dodecyl-2-oxazolidinone (1 MicroM) reduced this to 1.2 times control.
