To provide an insect pest gathering apparatus with which insect pests or the like such as mites including red mites and northern fowl mites, and fleas can be attracted, followed by catching and exterminating the attracted insect pests or the like, the apparatus allowing anyone to easily handle. An apparatus for gathering insect pests or the like such as mites and fleas includes a gathering portion 11 having a porous structure with a large number of holes 11 h continuously lying from a surface to an inside. As for the gathering portion 11, a hole diameter D of the hole 11 h has such a length that the insect pest or the like can enter the hole. Since the gathering portion 11 includes a large number of holes 11 h continuously lying from the surface to the inside and having such a length that the insect pest or the like can enter the hole, the hole 11 h becomes a place for the insect pest or the like to hide. When the insect pest gathering apparatus 1 of the present invention is provided on a predetermined place in a poultry house CH, some of insect pests or the like parasitic on the poultry or having entered a gap in the poultry house CH, a poultry cage KG or the like can be gathered in the gathering portion 11.
