A skin treatment device comprising a light source for providing a light beam for optically treating a skin, a wheel with a wheel surface for reflecting the light beam towards the skin, wherein different angular positions of the wheel correspond to respective different directions of reflection for the light beam, driving means for rotating the wheel for changing the angular position of the wheel, an angular position detector for detecting the angular position of the wheel, a storage means for storing a predefined skin-treatment pattern and a relation between the different angular positions of the wheel and the corresponding respective different directions of reflection for the light beam, and a control circuit coupled to the light source, the angular position detector and the storage means and being operative to control the light source in dependence on the angular position detected by the angular position detector in such a way that, for each revolution of the wheel, the light beam only illuminates the wheel surface at selected angular positions to realize the predefined skin- treatment pattern.La présente invention concerne un dispositif de traitement de la peau comprenant une source de lumière destinée à fournir un faisceau lumineux pour le traitement optique dune peau, une roue avec une surface de roue pour réfléchir le faisceau de lumière en direction de la peau, différentes positions angulaires de la roue correspondant à différentes directions de réflexion respectives pour le faisceau lumineux, un moyen dentraînement pour entraîner la roue en rotation pour modifier la position angulaire de la roue, un détecteur de position angulaire pour détecter la position angulaire de la roue, un moyen de stockage pour stocker un profil prédéfini de traitement de la peau et une relation entre les différentes positions angulaires de la roue et les différentes directions de réflexion correspondantes et respectives du faisceau lumineux, et un circuit de commande couplé à la sou
