PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying mechanism of a relaying conveyor capable of surely drawing and transporting a sweet potato vine and supplying to a feed roller of the shredding cutter by the relaying conveyor independently of remarkable variation of harvesting quantity of the sweet potato vine per unit time, in a sweet potato vine harvester having a shredding cutter immediately behind a relaying conveyor.SOLUTION: A pair of right and left vertical conveyor rollers 73a, 73b are placed at right and left sides of a roller conveyor-type relaying conveyor. Each vertical conveyor roller 73a, 73b has a spiral ridge 73h on the outer circumference, and the spiral direction of the spiral ridge 73h is to generate a press down force by normal direction rotation of the vertical roll.
