A drug delivery device, comprising: an expandable member having an outer surface and configured such that the outer surface is in contact with surrounding tissue when the expandable member expands； a liquid composition of a therapeutically active substance attached to the outer surface of the expandable element and made to release into the surrounding tissue when the outer surface of the expandable element is in contact with the surrounding tissue, while the liquid composition contains a taxane in a pharmacologically effective dosage of at least one pharmacologically acceptable solubility enhancer and water in a concentration range from about one percent by weight to about seventy percent by weight, and liquids composition comprises a final solution of taxane in the concentration range from about 0.05 mg / ml to about 15 mg / ml.2. A drug delivery device according to claim 1, wherein the liquid composition further comprises at least one pharmacologically acceptable stabilizer. A drug delivery device according to claim 4, wherein at least one pharmacologically acceptable stabilizer and solubility enhancer comprise polyethylene glycol. The drug delivery device of claim 4, wherein the at least one pharmacologically acceptable stabilizer and solubility enhancer comprise vitam1.
