CONSTITUTION: A cast iron pot type coffee roaster for use over a direct flame source for roasting green coffee beans comprises the following: a chamber(10) in a cylinder shape including an opening on the upper and the lower side, and a rotating shaft support groove(11) on the side surface； a cover(20) opening and closing the top opening of the chamber； a roasting drum assembly including a cylindrical drum body in which coffee beans are added for the roasting process, and a rotating shaft(35) formed on the side of the drum body and coupled to the rotating shaft support groove； and a motor unit(40) connected to the rotating shaft of the storage drum for offering driving force for rotating the storage drum.
