The elastic band (1) has a portion (11) intended to be wound approximately around a foot of a person, and another portion (12) intended to be wound approximately around an ankle of the person. The latter portion includes a longitudinal opening (17) intended to receive the heel, where the latter portion is approximately planar in a non-constrained state. Two straps (13a, 13b) are arranged side by side, so that a longitudinal edge (14) of one of the straps is adjacent to a longitudinal edge (15) of the other strap.
