Provided is an intestinal environment improvement composition containing a glycopeptide in which a sugar chain is bonded to a peptide having a threonine and/or serine residue, wherein: the molecular weight of the glycopeptide is 500-3000； the sugar chain is bonded to a hydroxyl group of the threonine or serine residue in the peptide； and the sugar constituting the sugar chain is one or more sugars selected from the group consisting of sialic acid, N-acetylgalactosamine, and galactose. The present invention provides a novel intestinal environment improvement composition that is not conventionally available, as well as a food product, a pharmaceutical product, and an animal feed that contain the composition.
