The exchangeable work channel comprises a shaft comprising a proximal zone and a distal zone； An interior surface defining a lumen extending through the shaft； And an outer surface configured to connect with the instrument channel of the surgical instrument. The interchangeable working channel may further include one or more locking members configured to releasably engage the proximal or distal portion of the surgical instrument.
