An optical tomographic image generation method of generating a tomographic image of an object includes: acquiring a signal performing Fourier transform and obtaining the tomographic image. The optical tomographic image generation method further includes one of the steps of combining a plurality of the signals acquired within a predetermined time and combining a plurality of the signals acquired within a predetermined time after performed the Fourier transform thereon.
