A hip joint prosthesis includes connection means for securing the hip joint prosthesis to a securing device and to an artificial leg, and a control unit for controlling an extension movement in the hip joint and for controlling the step length of the artificial leg.一種髖關節義肢，具一接頭手段以固定在一固定裝置上以及供一義腿之用。此外設有一控制單元以控制髖關節中的伸直運動及步伐長度，利用此控制單元，可以控制站立階段的伸長運動及腿義肢的步伐長度，例如經由一油壓控制系統(圖1)。
