A measuring marker is fixed on the most protruding portion of the chin; at distance of 20 cm from the measuring marker a contactless device of the optical tracking system CT-Treck No. 000001 is placed, lenses of web-cameras of a contactless device of optical tracking system CT-Treck No. 000001 traps movement of the measuring marker during movement of the lower jaw with maximum opening and closing of the mouth, repeating movements 5 times, further computer processing of measurement marker movement is performed, obtained information is recorded in three mutually perpendicular planes, transverse motions of the lower jaw are recorded along the X coordinate axis; vertical movements of the lower jaw are recorded along the Y coordinate axis; sagittal movements of the lower jaw are recorded as per the Z coordinate axis.EFFECT: technical result of the declared invention is higher accuracy of recording movements of the lower jaw in the study in diagnosing and treating the temporomandibular joint pathology.1 cl, 4 dwg
