The present invention relates to a dual-functional peptide having an ability to promote differentiation from stem cells to chondrocytes and an ability to reduce inflammation, and a use thereof. The peptide according to the present invention has advantages of being useful for preventing or treating arthritis accompanied by inflammation and damage of cartilage tissue because of being excellent in an effect of reducing inflammation and in an ability to promote differentiation from stem cells to chondrocytes, being easily applicable to various surgical regeneration treatments including orthopedics, and shortening a treatment period.본 발명은 줄기세포로부터 연골세포로의 분화 촉진능 및 염증 감소능을 가지는 이중 기능성 펩타이드 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 펩타이드는 염증 감소 효과 및 줄기세포로부터 연골세포로의 분화 촉진 능력이 뛰어나 염증 및 연골조직의 손상을 동반한 관절염의 예방 또는 치료에 유용하고, 정형외과를 포함하는 다양한 외과적 재생치료에 간편하게 적용이 가능하고 치료기간도 단축시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다.
