PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel having satisfactory sealability.SOLUTION: A fishing reel comprises: a spindle fitted in a reel body 1 for supporting a reel component and a circumferential component arranged around the spindle, wherein one of the spindle and the circumferential component rotates around the spindle relative to the other. The fishing reel further comprises a seal member 30 mounted on the circumferential component and having a lip portion 33 extending toward the spindle.
