The nozzle (1) has a mixing chamber (11) delimited by a proximal end surface (21) and a distal end surface (22) spaced apart from the proximal end surface. A nozzle opening (23) is formed in the distal end surface. Two supply ducts (30, 40, 50) are discharged into the mixing chamber. One of the supply ducts is arranged in the proximal end surface, and discharges into the mixing chamber coaxially to the nozzle opening. The other supply duct includes an inlet opening (42), which discharges into the mixing chamber laterally and tangentially at the distal end surface. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for mixing two fluids by a nozzle for medical purpose (2) a surgical apparatus for providing open-loop and closed-loop control of a surgical instrument.
