PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve easiness in taking out a penis without impairing the original function of absorbing performance or the like.
SOLUTION: This underpants type absorbent article 1 has a front open part 20p communicating inside and outside, at a portion overlapping with at least a part of an absorbent body 10, of an outer sheet 20. The absorbent body 10 is constituted such that the whole of a portion 10n extending from a portion overlapping with at least a part of the front open part 20p to a part of the peripheral edge is not fixed to the outer sheet 20, that a grip sheet 70 is fixed to the absorbent body 10 facing the front open part 20p, and that the absorbent body 10 is moved relative to the absorbing outer sheet 20 by pulling the grip sheet 70.
