The preparation method according to the present invention can be carried out by adjusting reaction conditions of a solvent or a catalyst and the like, and an alkyl chain can be introduced isosorbide at a high selectivity and an excellent yield, thereby being usefully used for producing 2-O-alkylisosorbide-5-O-alkyl sulfonate.
