#$%^&*AU2015100227A420150402.pdf#####1 AUSTRALIA Patents Act 1990 ABSTRACT Plant production via a self contained hydroponic chamber2 ABSTRACT The present invention relates generally to a method of producing plants via a self contained hydroponic chamber, involving the following steps: 1. growing plants in an insulated chamber with walls that allow sunlight in; 2. complimenting sunlight with LED lights powered by direct current electricity from a photovoltaic panel mounted on top of the chamber coupled to a battery and controller; 3. collecting rainfall from the photovoltaic panel and adding nutrients for plant growth; 4. controlling temperature and humidity with heaters, pumps, misting sprays and fans powered by above direct current electricity and rainwater; 5. enhancing the carbon dioxide (C02) levels within the chamber either with membranes extracting C02 from the atmosphere or with bottled C02; 6. placing seeds in growing medium on trays; 7. with the only introduced elements being nutrients and seeds; 8. each chamber is standalone and a number of them can be positioned side by side.
