It comprisesa housing (12) to receive astrip (3) having a pluralityof blisters (3a), each blisterhaving a breachable lidand containing a dose ofmedicament for inhalationby a user, an indexing wheel(15) mounted in the housingrotatable to drive a strip tosequentially move blistersinto alignment with a blisterpiercing member (8), acontrol element (14) pivotallymounted to the housingand a drive mechanism (17)configured to couple thecontrol element to the indexingwheel during part of therotation of the control elementby a user so that the indexingwheel rotates together with thecontrol element.
