A pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one population of human Tr1 cells directed to an allergen associated with an allergic or asthmatic condition, provided that said allergen is not a food allergen in combination with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers .2. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1, wherein said population of human Tr1 cells is a maple population of human Tr1 cells. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1, wherein said allergen associated with an allergic or asthmatic condition is selected from the group consisting of inhaled allergens, swallowed allergens and contact allergens, provided that it is not a food allergen. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1, wherein said allergen associated with an allergic or asthmatic condition is selected from the group of allergens from mites, house dust, fragments thereof, variants and mixtures. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1, wherein said allergen associated with an allergic or asthmatic condition is selected from the group of allergens from pollen, fragments, variants and mixtures thereof. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1, wherein said allergen associated with an allergic or asthmatic condition is selected from the group of allergens from dogs, cats, rodents, fragments thereof, variants and mixtures. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1 for treating an allergic or asthmatic condition in a subject in need thereof, excluding a state of food allergy.
