PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide advanced fixation of clip collars for facilitating surgical access in a minimally invasive surgical procedure.SOLUTION: A surgical access system comprises: a surgical access device 10 including a housing 12 and a cannula 14 that extends from the housing； and a collar 100 including an annular body laterally attachable to the cannula, and a spring coupled to the annular body and movable between an uncompressed state and a compressed state.
