PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest control composition that has an excellent insecticidal effect, and to provide a pest control method using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a pest control composition containing 4-methoxymethyl-2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-benzyl 3-(2-cyano-1-propenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-cyclopropane-carboxylate, benzyl alcohol and a paraffinic solvent. Further, a constitution containing a propellant is preferred.
