The apparatus for estimating a shape of a flexible portion includes: a probe including a torque transmission wire to transmit torque, applied to one end, to the other end and inserted into the flexible portion； and a rotation information measuring unit coupled to the other end of the probe and measuring rotation information of the other end of the torque transmission wire.
