PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating tool in which replacement work of a blade is easier comparison to conventional tools.SOLUTION: A pair of wall parts 1f provided in a housing 1 defines both ends of a turnable range of a blade set in an unengaged state where an inner involute spline provided in the housing 1 and an outer involute spline of a blade set become coaxial and proximate with each other. The turnable range is equivalent to the amount of one pitch or more of spline teeth of the inner involute spline and the outer involute spline.
