A distal end collector used to collect and hold a cut fragment of distal end of the wire in the patient"s mouth so that the cut fragment of distal end of the wire is prevented from displaced in the patient"s mouth, or embedded in the soft tissue of the patient. The Distal end collector comprises of a head portion and a handle portion. The head portion includes at least one concave recess at the anterior end used to collect and hold the cut fragment of the wire and is connected to stem or shank at the posterior end. The stem or shank is connected with the handle. Distal end collector is used with distal end culler or without distal end cutter to collect the cut wire fragment by placing it close near the open end of the wire to be cut.
