To provide an intraocular lens inserter capable of making the incisional wound small while reducing burdens ON an intraocular lens.
SOLUTION: The intraocular lens inserter includes: an insertion part with an insertion cylinder for holding the intraocular lens provided with an optical part with prescribed refractive POWER and a support part for supporting the optical part inside an eye and inserting the intraocular lens from an incision provided ON an eyeball an inserter body in a cylindrical structure provided with the insertion part ON the distal end and an extrusion means provided movably forward and backward in the axial direction inside the cylinder of the inserter body so as to extrude the intraocular lens from the insertion part. In the intraocular lens inserter and the insertion cylinder is provided with a slit extending in the axial direction from the distal end of the insertion cylinder to the proximal end side and having a length equal to or longer than the length of the insertion cylinder distal end to be inserted from the incisional wound into the eye.
