The present invention relates to an endoscope. An imaging apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a terminal unit to photograph an image； a control unit which controls the terminal unit and processes the image inputted by the terminal unit； and a connection unit to connect the terminal unit to the control unit. The terminal unit comprises at least one lens device which has a variable focus point and encloses an outer surface thereof. The imaging apparatus according to the present invention comprises a multi-view, multifocal active variable lens to obtain images of various view points in a short period of time. When the imaging apparatus is used as an endoscope, the multi-view, multifocal active variable lens can be disposed on the terminal unit of the endoscope to reduce a thickness of the connection unit connecting the terminal unit to the control unit since the terminal unit of the endoscope does not need to be moved. Also, when the imaging apparatus is used as the endoscope, images of various view points can be obtained in a short period of time without having to direct the lens of the endoscope to multiple locations to effectively reduce time spent in a body of a patient, thereby alleviating discomfort of the patient.본 발명은 내시경에 관한 것으로서, 이미지를 촬영하는 말단부； 상기 말단부를 제어하고 상기 말단부에 의해 입력된 상기 이미지를 처리하는 제어부； 및 상기 말단부를 상기 제어부와 연결하는 연결부를 포함하고, 상기 말단부는, 초점이 가변하는 렌즈장치가 적어도 하나 이상 외면을 둘러싸도록 구비되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 영상촬영장치는, 다시점 다초점 능동가변렌즈를 구비하여 단시간에 다양한 시점의 이미지를 다수 얻을 수 있는 효과가 있으며, 내시경으로 사용되는 경우 내시경의 말단부에 다시점 다초점 능동가변렌즈를 구비함으로써 내시경의 말단부를 움직일 필요가 없어 내시경의 말단부와 제어부를 연결하는 연결부의 굵기를 줄일 수 있는 효과가 있다.또한, 본 발명에 따른 영상촬영장치는, 내시경으로 사용되는 경우 내시경의 렌즈를 여러 군데 향하도록 할 필요 없이 단 시간에 다양한 시점의 이미지를 다수 얻을 수 있어, 피검자의 체내 체류시간이 효과적으로 단축되고 이로 인해 피검자의 거북감을 감소시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
