PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image detecting device for generating an image which is free from reflection of an index.SOLUTION: The radiation image detecting device 12 includes a detection panel 16 and a casing for housing the detection panel 16. The casing includes a front face part 17a, a back face part 17b, and a carbon plate 18 attached so as to cover an opening part 17c of the front face part 17a, while the carbon plate 18 faces the detection panel 16. A transparent sheet 40 having transmission to radiation and visible light, adheres to a surface of the carbon plate 18. A rectangular-frame shaped first index 42a for indicating a radiation-detected range 16a on the detection panel 16 and a cross-shaped second index 42b for indicating a center position of the radiation-detected range 16a are printed on a back surface 40a (a surface facing the carbon plate 18) of the transparent sheet 40.
