The present invention relates to Alnus japonica bark, lactobacillus, or an anticariogenic pharmaceutical composition, quasi-medicines, and food composition including extract of Alnus japonica bark and lactobacillus. According to the present invention, using Alnus japonica bark and lactobacillus selected in an anticariogenic efficacy can prevent a biological membrane playing an important role in dental caries, and exhibit monovalency for Streptococcus mutans, which is a causing strain of dental caries, and exhibit inhibiting competence of glucan formation as well as exhibit valid efficacy in removing a biological membraned already formed. Particularly, if the Alnus japonica bark and the lactobacillus used in the present invention is used by itself, it can display excellent anticariogenic efficacy, and if it used in combination, it can display remarkable synergistic effects, such that it can be effectively used in preventing and treating dental caries. According to the present invention, using the Alnus japonica bark and the lactobacillus, which has no problems in safety, does not cause problems of toxicity or side effects and secures safety so as to be able to be applied in various fields. [Reference numerals] (AA) Viable cell count (%)；(BB) Alnus japonica bark본 발명은 오리나무 수피 추출물, 유산균, 또는 오리나무 수피 추출물 및 유산균을 포함하는 항우식성 약학 조성물, 의약외품 및 식품 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면 항우식 효능 측면에서 선정된 오리나무 수피 추출물 및 유산균을 이용함으로써 치아우식증에 있어서 중요한 역할을 하는 생물막을 억제하고, 치아우식증의 원인균주인 스트렙토코커스 뮤탄스(Streptococcus mutans)에 대한 항균력과 글루칸 형성 억제능을 발휘할 수 있으며, 이미 형성된 생물막 제거에도 유효한 효능을 발휘할 수 있다. 특히 본 발명에 이용된 오리나무 수피 추출물과 유산균은 단독으로 이용되는 경우 우수한 항우식 효능을 나타낼 뿐만 아니라, 병용되는 경우 항우식 효능에 있어서 현저한 상승 효과를 발휘하여 치아우식증의 예방 및 치료에 효과적으로 이용될 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명에 따르면 안전성에 문제가 없는 오리나무 수피 추출물과 유산균을 이용함으로써 독성이나 부작용 문제를 야기하지 않고 안전성을 확보하여 다양한 분야에 적용될 수 있다.
