This disclosure relates to prosthetic heart valve support cuffs (110) that are comprised of a foamy material. Such support cuffs (110) may be configured with support frames (130) configured to maintain an improved implantation site for percutaneously delivered heart valves. The support cuff (110) may either be implanted prior to implantation of a heart valve or concurrently with the heart valve. The foamy material is configured to compress and expand upon liquid contact to substantially seal the perimeter of an opening to a heart.
