PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable composition for filling root canal with good operability that is useful for root canal and/or apexification procedures.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the composition for filling root canal, in which a root canal filling material is prepared by mixing: a first composition comprising hydrogel former, such as chitosans, alginates, pectinates, and polyacrylic acids, and hydrogel, such as polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl butyral, polyvinyl alcohols, and hydroxymethyl cellulose； and a second composition comprising one kind or both of self-hardening filler, such as Portland cement, self-setting calcium cements, and gypsum, and a non-hardening filler, such as hydroxyapatite, fluorapatite, tricalcium phosphate, and calcium oxide.【課題】歯根管及び／又はアペキシフィケーション処置に有用な，安定で操作性の良い歯根管充填用組成の提供。【解決手段】キトサン，アルギン酸塩，ペクチン酸塩やケイ酸三カルシウム，ケイ酸二カルシウム等のヒドロゲル形成剤，及びポリ酢酸ビニル，ポリビニルブチラール，ポリビニルアルコール類，ヒドロキシメチルセルロース等のヒドロゲルを含む第１の組成物と，ポルトランドセメント，自己凝結性カルシウムセメントや石膏等の自己硬化性充填剤及びヒドロキシアパタイト，フルオロアパタイト，リン酸三カルシウムや酸化カルシウム等の非硬化性充填剤の１種類又は両方を含む第２の組成物を混合して歯根管充填材料とする歯根管充填用組成物。【選択図】なし
