PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide human monoclonal antibodies against human nucleolin.SOLUTION: One of the obstacles in development of monoclonal antibodies for human therapy is the need to "humanize" such antibodies which are generally produced in mice, rats and rabbits. The invention provides a method for producing a human monoclonal antibody against human nucleolin, cells that produce such an antibody, and the antibody itself.
