The present invention describes herbicidal compositions comprising a herbicidal synergistic effective amount of (a) penoxsulam or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof, or clomazone or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof, and (b) benzobicyclon or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof. Also described herein are methods of controlling undesirable rice vegetation, which include applying to vegetation or an area adjacent to vegetation, or applying to soil or water to prevent the emergence or growth of vegetation, (a) penoxsulam or a salt thereof. agriculturally acceptable, or clomazone or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof, and (b) benzobicyclon or a agriculturally acceptable salt thereof, wherein (a) and (b) are each added in an amount sufficient to produce a synergistic herbicidal effect.RESUMO Patente de Invenção: "CONTROLE SINÉRGICO DE ERVAS DANINHAS A PARTIR DE APLICAÇÕES DE PENOXSULAM E BENZOBICICLON OU CLOMAZONA E BENZOBICICLON".
