PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic oil which has a transparent or translucent appearance and a good feeling of use.SOLUTION: The cosmetic oil contains: (A) 0.00001-0.5 wt.% of water (B)dipentaerythrityl tri-polyhydroxystearate (C) 20 wt.% or more of squalane and (D) one kind or two kinds or more selected from pentaerythrityl tetraethylhexanoate, a meadowfoam oil, an olive oil, glyceryl tri(2-ethylhexanoate), tri(caprylic acid/capric acid) glyceryl, a sunflower oil, a macadamia nut oil, and pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate.
