A fusion protein, when displayed on a cell can convert a negative signal into a positive signal in the cell. The fusion protein is a chimeric protein in that the protein comprises at least two domains, wherein the first domain is a polypeptide that is associated with a negative signal and the second domain is a polypeptide that is associated with a positive signal. Thus, these switch receptors are able to switch negative signals to positive signals for enhancement of an immune response.La présente invention concerne, d'une manière générale, une protéine de fusion qui, quand elle est présentée sur une cellule, peut convertir un signal négatif en signal positif dans la cellule. La protéine de fusion est une protéine chimère car elle comporte au moins deux domaines, le premier domaine étant un polypeptide associé à un signal négatif et le second domaine étant un polypeptide associé à un signal positif. L'invention concerne donc des récepteurs de commutation capables de changer des signaux négatifs en signaux positifs pour renforcer une réponse immunitaire.
