A medicament cartridge is positioned within one of the housing pieces, and an actuator within another one of the housing pieces. A safety is coupled with the actuator and adjusts is between a locking state inhibiting firing the actuator, and a release state, and is positionable in the locking state in each of the use configuration and the storage configuration.
