PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit capable of accurately measuring a pulse wave propagation time difference without contact.SOLUTION: An information processing unit 100 divides biological image information obtained by photographing the surface of a living body into plural divided areas, and detects a pulse wave signal on the basis of luminance variation with the time variation of pixels included in each divided areas.
