PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial hair excellent in setting properties and volume feeling while having natural touch as artificial hair of vinylidene chloride-based fiber.
SOLUTION: The artificial hair is made from vinylidene chloride-based resin. The vinylidene chloride-based resin comprises 10-60 wt.% of a vinylidene chloride-vinyl chloride copolymer which contains 80 wt.%-98 wt.% of vinylidene chloride, and 40-90 wt.% of a vinylidene chloride-methyl acrylate copolymer which contains 90 wt.%-98 wt.% of vinylidene chloride. The vinylidene chloride-based resin is hollow fiber with 3-30% percentage of hollowness.
