PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid comprising a base sequence of a noxious animal gene that can be targeted by RNA interference (RNAi) agricultural chemicals, and a double-stranded RNA that suppresses the expression of the gene, and also to provide a noxious animal control agent and a method for controlling noxious animals, which utilize the double-stranded RNA.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a nucleic acid consists of a base sequence consisting of a specific sequence or a base sequence having 90% or more identity with the base sequence. A double-stranded RNA comprises a RNAi effect on a gene that consists of the nucleic acid. A noxious animal control agent comprises the double-stranded RNA as an active ingredient.
