Provided is a process for preparing a choline salt of [4,6-bis(dimethylamino)-2-(4-{[4-(trifluoromethyl)benzoyl]amino}benzyl)pyrimidin-5-yl]acetic acid. The process of the invention is useful for preparing the salt in purer forms of the salt.
