PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition is provided to improve a skin exfoliation effect by affecting a keratin cell which is a skin epidermis outermost layer, have a marked effect on improving skin pigmentation and skin tone, have an excellent moisturizing effect and minimize skin irritation, thereby having no side effects. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition includes a mixture in which gluconolactone and lactobionic acid are mixed in a weight ratio of 1:1.5 to 1:2.0 as an active ingredient. The cosmetic composition is used for skin exfoliating, skin whitening or skin tone improvement. The cosmetic composition includes 0.01-40 weight% of the mixture based on the whole cosmetic composition. The cosmetic composition includes 1-20 weight% of the gluconolactone and 1-40 weight% of the lactobionic acid based on the cosmetic composition.
